There are several interesting things happening in Lethbridge.

Look on for  articles on Alyssa MCQuaid , who went down to nashville to record her  latest Ep “ This Is Your Song.”

And, if you were at the  Lethbridge Hurricanes game last weekend, you might have heard some unusual folk/ pop music playing in between plays. That was Mahoney who  are starting to play a lot of WHL games, mostly in their home town of Medicine Hat.

Also on L.A. Beat, look for an interview on Indian Handicrafts. the Barrie, B.C. rock/ metal duo got to meet the Melvins, some of whom played on their CD. They will be playing  Lethbridge for the first time, March 10 with Black Mastiff and local bands the Void and Lustre Creame.
There is a lot more including Hayes Carll and several rap shows, which are summed up in the week’s preview.

Later in the week look for updated listings, a piece on  the pipe organ classes at the Kiwanis Speech arts and music festival, concert reviews, pics and new CD reviews.
