Global Wellness Day

Take care of yourself a little extra, physically, mentally and spiritually. Feeling empowered, healthy and fueled is what Global Wellness Day is all about. Join us on June 11th in celebrating the wellness of yourself and others. 


Global Wellness Day occurs on the second Saturday of every June and promotes self-care and well-being of everyone. Help yourself to look good, feel good and encourage others to do the same. There are various ways to participate in this year’s Global Wellness Day including practicing the 7 step Manifesto outlined on the Global Wellness Day website. 

  1. Walk for an hour of the day
  2. Drink more water
  3. Don't use plastic bottles
  4. Eat healthy food
  5. Do a good deed
  6. Have a family dinner with your loved ones
  7. Sleep at 10:00pm


Other ways to be involved include wearing pink or magenta clothing, making your own manifesto and just doing what makes you happy and healthy! As part of Global Wellness Day there will be yoga held in Galt Gardens at 9:00am Saturday morning and anyone is welcome. Take care of your mind and body by nourishing it with all the things to help you thrive.
